Today’s drama recommendation is none other than the ongoing Taiwanese romance drama “Refresh Man” .

 In comes a new CEO to her company, who turns out to be her old high school fr-enemy who she hasn’t sen in ten years, wen Kai(Arron Yang). Wen Kai, who used to the lazy bum in class is now her Ceo while she who was always first in class is now his secretary.

What follows next is………………………………………………….

Of course I'm not going to spoil it for you. But just imagine throwing in these two fr-enemies/ rivals together in the reverse situation they are in now?


Not short of interesting is what’s going to follow. The drama is 20 episodes and currently 13 episodes are out.

Watch this drama if you enjoy cliched romance stories, if you are looking for a second female lead that you can actually like, if you enjoy catchy soundtracks("Say la la la la laaa"), if you enjoy watching drama were the lead tease the female lead and they have good chemistry.

But if you don’t like cliches, or the arrogant style lead who always seems to treat the main lead brashly while secretly helping her out, or you enjoy watching drama with annoying , mean female second leads, then don’t watch this drama.

As for me, I love this drama. I enjoy Wen Kai (Aaron) teasing Zu tang(Joanne) and making her do what he wants while she thinks she is doing it because she wants to. Also for the first time in a very very long time, the female second lead Aisha(played by lene lai) is actually a very lovable character that you just can’t hate.
 You’d find yourself wishing she has her own happy ending. As for the second male lead, I seriously dislike his character at the moment. Maybe that would change as the drama goes on but I find him annoying. The main reason I dislike the second male lead Zi Yu (played by Li Yun Qing from Dear mom) is because he really has no chemistry with the female main lead, so I just see him as unnecessarily blocking the main relationship.
